September 4 Alert: Important “We Are All DC: A National March”

Dear Friends:  

Free DC, Indivisible and local officials in DC are asking for people to come on Saturday,

September 6th to MalcolmX (Meridian Hill) Park at 2301 16th Street and W Street, NW, at 11:00 am to join a national rally followed by a march of solidarity with DC to end the occupation of our nation’s capital. I hope many of my readers can make it. Please sign up at this link; the organizers would like to know how many will be attending.

Those of us in the DC area have a special responsibility to join in these kinds of actions. We live in the eye of the storm.

I also hope everyone has had some restorative time over the summer. This Fall will be very chaotic I think. I had a week visiting friends in St. Petersburg Florida, which changed somewhat my view of Florida. I’ll likely write a little about that in a future blog.

Meanwhile, I hope to see you in DC on Saturday.
